Well, I joined the gym, have been attending training sessions with my trainer now for six weeks. I sweat, hurt, cringe and am now starting to realize higher energy levels. I think mainly because I look at the candy bar and think, “You are going to cost me an hour on the treadmill” and promptly ignore it. Everything that goes on my plate or in my hands I now remember not so foundly the pain my trainer put me through and decide if it is worth the workout or not. Amazingly, this simple little process has helped me eat better. But, I have not lost any weight. In fact, I have gained 15 pounds. So now I don’t have 45 pounds to loose, I have 60 pounds to loose.
After speaking with my personal trainer I asked what else I could do. He had me write down everything I ate for a week. Well today I took him my “food journal”, he examined it and was surprised. So yet again he took all my body measurements and weight and was shocked. He didn’t understand why I was not loosing any weight.
Prior to starting my work out with him, he had me get a physical with my doctor. The doctor drew blood and performed all sorts of tests, I am healthy with no problems (other then my cholesterol is a bit high). So my trainer knew there was nothing wrong with my body, it just doesn’t want to loose weight. He suggested I go on the HcG diet. I don’t know if it is going to work or not, but it is supposed to arrive in the mail on wednesday.
I will keep you posted as to how that goes. Also today my trainer switched my workout plan to yoga, pilates and Tai Chi, he said that I would do better with these types of workouts while on the HcG diet.
Here is hoping for a better, healthier, skinnier me.
Remember, I have 60 pounds to loose now as I am supposed to weight between 104-107 pounds.
