I had a dream last night about eating chips. Yep, chips. There was other stuff going on in the dream, but it important part is that I dreamed of chips.
I think that once you commit yourself to a diet, your mind automatically starts generating desire for all the yummy foods you’ve sworn off. Chips. Donuts. Pizza. The list goes on and on and it will relentlessly torment you throughout the diet.
But I try to think of the fact that none of those things will taste as good as I will feel once I reach my goal. I believe I can do anything I set my mind to, and this is my way of proving it. I don’t intend to let myself down.
I weighed in at 174.0 lbs today, which makes my trend point (I’m using a weighted moving average as described in The Hacker’s Diet) 175.44 lbs.
