Day 2 - Wii EA Sports Active

Morning!!   I am lacking in the sleep department… girls were up at 12:30, then the cat threw up in my hallway sometime after that, then when I had *FINALLY* fallen asleep the girls were up AGAIN at 4:30am!! UGH!! So I managed to catch a bit of sleep here and there, but not  nearly enough… so i’m feeling a little tired today… hope everyone else had a better night than I did! lol!

It’s bright & sunny out today, so i’m going to take the girls out to play later on and hopefully snap a few cute pics! I need to do some baking today, I found a recipe for Peach Cobbler from the Betty Crocker website, but i’m going to “healthy it up” and will post my recipe/results if it’s edible… lol!! Dh brought home ribs for dinner, (YUM!!) not the healthiest, but its ok, I promise not to eat a rack all by myself.. LOL!

Anyways, today is Day 2 of my EA Sports Active! Today was focusing on legs/arms with cardio thrown in… another fun & good workout! Love it!

Only 97% today… but I know that’s cause i’m not hitting 8 hrs of sleep, but I *NEVER* get 8 hrs of sleep… never. ever. ever. lol! Tomorrow is my “rest” day on the Wii so I think i’ll make up my own workout and do that!! It really is a lot of fun, so it makes me *want* to do it!

My eats yesterday were pretty good! But I kind of went @ss backwards… lol! I was craving for eggs for breakfast, so scrambled up 2 eggs and shoved them in 1/2 whole wheat pita and topped with some cheddar cheese. Yum!!

For lunch I had bought some Tilapia, nobody here will eat fish, (I haven’t even for *YEARS* but figured it’s good for me, so i’ll start eating it again, fast & easy to cook, so hey!) I drizzled some extra virgin olive oil on it, a few squirts of lemon, garlic and steak spice (it’s my fave, i’ll put it on anything… lol!) and wrapped it in tin foil. Baked it for 20 min at 375F. That did it! It was really good! Very mild, so I liked that… I can’t stand the smell of salmon, so I know i’ll be sticking with the less “fishy” fish. lol! Along with the Tilapia I had a side salad with romaine, little tomatoes from my grandmas garden, yellow peppers, Renees Greek Dressing & a side of carrots! Yum! Oh.. and some Feta cheese.. sooo good!

Later in the afternoon my daughters and I went out for a walk for about an hour or so… we got home and I ate 1/2 pc of my sisters Zucchini Lemon bread (recipe coming soon, she’s trying to find it) with a bit of butter on top. A couple hours later I was hungry and craving my “usual” breakfast! So I had  my breakfast for dinner…. 1/3 cup oats, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, banana, 2 Tbsp. dried cranberries, 1 Tbsp flaxmeal, and 1 tsp of sucanat for good meaure and a touch of extra sweetness!

Before bed I had a tea and a squre of Lindt 75% Ecuador chocolate.. its my *FAVOURITE*.. soooo good!

There are soo many on the site I haven’t seen though… I think I need to braoden my horizons and search out a few  more… YUM!~
