Looking for a clever way to reduce your intake of fat and calories that will have you eating more nutrient-rich foods? Donald Katz, MD, recommends making half of every meal consist of fruits or vegetables. For example, at breakfast fill your bowl half-way with cereal and then top if off with peaches and blueberries. Try doing this at each meal, and you’ll reduce the fat and calories (as long as you don’t add high-calorie toppings).
