A new habit I am going to start working on is going to bed earlier! I’ve read in magazines and other sources that not getting enough sleep can derail weight loss and even cause a weight gain. Here are a couple articles I just found http://bit.ly/2z48Z6, and http://bit.ly/RBF11 enjoy. Right now I think I may get only 2 or 3 full night sleep a week, meaning 7.5 hours or so. With a snoring husband and a 3 year old who comes running for our bed at least once a week it’s hard to get that full nights sleep. Even when I get to sleep in on the weekends, I still stay up to late, and it’s not a solid sleep. I’m a night owl and I enjoy staying up late watching movies when everyone is in bed. I still get woken up by my daughter or the noises of the morning: cereal bowls, the shower or the TV. So starting tonight I am going make an effort to be in bed and asleep before 11pm which will give me at least 7.5 hours of sleep. Now I just need to get my daughter to sleep before 9pm, she’s a night owl just like me. And I need to stop staying up to watch TV, that’s what the DVR is for! To everyone sweet dreams and a good night sleep!
