Setting goals

I was, if i could say it myself, a svelte 130 pounds in Feb 2006. Svelte is probably is generous word, i still needed toning at places, but i will use it anyway

At one point I had hit 165 pounds, I also had hit a lot of other bottoms in terms of how i felt. But this blog is not about why and what. I had set a few goals these past few months and i did try, but i was not committed. So nothing changed, I am at 159-160 pounds now, I need to lose 30-34 pounds to be at my goal and healthy weight.

Thats a tall call. I am ready for tall calls. I have been trained for tall calls, no not because of my profession, but just by experience. But i also believe in two things, if i obsess about something, i dont get it. So, i will go the route i know best, set small goals, try and enjoy myself along the way. That has worked for me before and I am sure it will again.

Goals – by Sep 30 2009

- 150-152 lbs, better hair , see a doc for some other concerns like vitamins, age appropriate diet, and some other concerns

- Read 2 books ( Finish some unfinished ones – Kite Runner, Eat Pray Love, A walk in the woods, many others )

- declutter, starting with giving the goodwill stuff.

- Donate to charities i usually do.

- Reconnect with friends and family.
