As I approach the two week mark, I am physically exhausted. I am worn out! Living on nothing but liquids has brought about a tremendous weight loss (about 47 lbs. so far), but at a real cost. I am really struggling just to get through the day without a nap.
On Friday last week, I was feeling so well that I went to our local school track and walked about 2 miles. After that, my energy just went downhill and I haven’t been able to get it back.
I have four more days until I see the doctor and move into phase two (pureed foods). I can’t wait. Liquids are getting difficult to swallow – not physically, I’m just tired of them. Still glad I did it though! Having the weight off is wonderful. I am able to move better and sleep better. Can’t wait to see the results after the four weeks of modified diet! My goal is 70 pounds off.

People ask me if I’m hungry. The answer is YES on a psychological level. I see a commercial for a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder and I would LOVE one, but I know that it’s in my head. My stomach couldn’t handle a McDonald’s hamburger, let aalone a Quarter Pounder. I have to revise my hungers and amounts I eat.
Physically, I’m not really that hungry except when I wake up in the morning. Until I get that first glass of water in me, my stomach rumbles.
